Lessons From the Field #7:
Goals Are Like Magnets

Nothing can stop you when you are fixated on a goal. As you watch today’s 55 seconds, you may want to ask yourself:

  • How, if at all, have my goals changed in the past six months?
  • Where in today’s circumstances are my opportunities for more progress?
  • What action can I take right now to adapt my plans and move forward?

Your goals will pull you in their direction if you let them. Relax, and let them lead the way.

Once you are committed to a goal nothing can stop you from looking for ways to achieve it.

Victor Frankl, while confined to a Nazi concentration camp, imagined himself lecturing on psychotherapy and went on to teach the world we can control our attitudes despite our circumstances.

Disasters are a regular part of life and everyone gets their share. Purposeful goals have a way of drawing you to them without regard for what ’s going on around you.

Napoleon Hill said: “When defeat comes, accept it as a signal that your plans are not sound, rebuild those plans, and set sail once more toward your coveted goal.”

Are you still inspired by your goals? How have things changed? Where is the new path?

What can you do right now to get back on track?
