Lessons From the Field #38:
Change is Growth
Change and the impact it has on you is a part of life; at times it is fast and dramatic, other times slow and gradual. As you watch today’s 55 seconds, you may want to ask yourself:
Since change is inevitable, it makes sense to embrace it, understand the dangers and opportunities it brings, and get good at using it to your family’s advantage.
Like it or not, the only evidence of growth is change.
Change can be easy, like marrying your soulmate, or very hard, like losing a spouse and left to lead your family on your own.
Some of life’s best opportunities come from hardship.
One of our clients found himself on the outside when his successful business got to be more than he could handle…he took it in stride and changed his focus from building a business to preparing his spouse and children to carry on.
He and his wife are now gone…the business is doing fine…but his family is doing great…empowered by the structure and wisdom he left behind.
Initially he really didn’t know what to do…but… he learned to embrace the change and use it to his family’s advantage.
What kind of a change agent are you?
