Lessons From the Field #34:
Transform or Die
The most powerful transformations in your life are intentional. As you watch today’s 55 seconds, you may want to ask yourself:
One of the unique qualities of being human is your ability to change and adapt, but you are solely responsible to make it happen.
William Burroughs said, “When you stop growing…you start dying.”
Growth requires paying attention to your surroundings, adapting to change, and getting better in the process.
I have done a lot of snow skiing in my life and every time I fall, I seem to improve because of it.
But significant change is usually the result of a lesson with an expert; someone who knows my limits and takes me out of my comfort zone.
Then the experience helps me transform my abilities and ski at a much higher level.
John Mark Green said, “Change is inevitable, but transformation is a conscious choice.”
As a family fiduciary your loved ones count on you to lead the way.
Where in your life might you choose to transform in a way to improve your family’s future?
